While it took some navigating through the city to find, the experience of immersing in the local hustle and bustle was rewarding. The family running the Riad are genuinely welcoming. They provide invaluable recommendations to help you make the most of your stay, and safety is a noticeable priority here. The shared kitchen is a real boon, allowing you to whip up a meal or enjoy freshly made mint tea anytime. Plus, the roof terrace provides a peaceful place to unwind, even amidst the city’s vibrancy. While my room felt a bit damp and cold on the first night, the availability of laundry facilities was appreciated. I grabbed a tagine cooked by Ayoub, which was quite nice after a long day. Note that some noise from guests can disrupt a good night’s sleep. For the price you pay, Riad Sijane offers fundamental comforts and a friendly atmosphere, making it a practical option for travelers seeking budget-friendly accommodation with easy access to local culture. Staying longer could enhance your exploration.
